In his first official match of the 2024 ATP season, Novak eased past Zhizhen Zhang 6-3, 6-2 to give Serbia a 1-0 lead in Group E clash with China in Perth. In the second match, Qinwen Zheng defeated Olga Danilovic 6-4, 6-2. Nole and Olga won a deciding mixed doubles rubber 6-4, 1-6, 10-6 to keep Serbia in contention for quarter-finals.

AIPS: Novak 2023 Athlete of the year

Thanks to a remarkable 2023 season in which he won seven singles titles, including three Major trophies, Novak was elected as AIPS Champion of the Year and honored with the European Sportsperson of the Year award for the fifth time.
