In the latest ATP Ranking list as of April 19, Novak is still ranked second.
Although he did not manage to defend Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters final, which is why he lost 240 points, the best Serbian tennis player is still ahead of Rafael Nadal with 7390 points, but the difference is now 410 ATP points.
In the ATP Race leading to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals tournament, Novak has climbed three positions to no.4 with 1580 points.
As for the doubles rankings, Novak is no.205 with 315 points, he dropped down 79 places from last week, due to elimination in the second round of Monte-Carlo (last year he reached the finals).
Djokovic will take this week off before he heads to Rome to defend finals at the ATP World Tour 1000 Masters tournament .
