Novak’s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:
3rd round: Marco Cecchinato (ITA, 16), Jeremy Chardy (FRA), Diego Schwartzman (ARG)
Quarter-finals: Juan Martin del Potro (ARG, 7), Marin Cilic (CRO, 9)
Semi-finals: Roger Federer (SUI, 4), Dominic Thiem (AUT, 5), Fabio Fognini (ITA, 10)
Rafael Nadal (ESP, 2), Alexander Zverev (GER, 3), Kei Nishikori (JPN, 6), Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 8)… are in the bottom half of the draw and Novak can’t meet them before the final.
