Novak and his doubles partner Carlos Gomez-Herrera recorded a 4-6, 7-6 (3), 10-8 victory over top seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos on Wednesday to progress into the Mallorca Championships semi-finals.
The Serbian/Spanish pairing got broken in the opening game of the match and lost the first set, only to come back and win the second set in a tie-break. They prevailed in a match tie-break 10-8 to seal the win after one hour and 37 minutes of play.
Nole and Carlos will next challenge third seeds Oliver Marach (AUT) and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi (PAK) in attempt to reach the ATP 250 grass court event final.
