2023 was another year of dominance for the Serbian star Novak Djokovic.
The 36-year-old Belgrade native enjoyed a remarkable 12 months, winning seven titles – including three Grand Slam trophies (Australian Open, Roland Garros and US Open), two ATP Masters 1000 crowns (Western & Southern Open and Rolex Paris Masters), an ATP 250 tournament – Adelaide International 1, and the Nitto ATP Finals. He was also a finalist at Wimbledon.
In one of his greatest seasons, Nole achieved many impressive milestones and gained more respect for his record-breaking achievements.
Djokovic continued to build upon his extraordinary legacy at Melbourne Park, lifting a record-extending 10th Norman Brookes Challenge Cup.
By lifting the Coupe des Mousquetaires, Novak became the first man to win every major title at least three times.
Winning the 2023 US Open, Djokovic clinched his 24th career Grand Slam title, two clear of Spaniard Rafael Nadal on the all-time list.
At the Paris Masters he won a record-breaking 40th Masters 1000 trophy.
By triumphing in the championship match of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Novak won a record seventh crown at the prestigious year-ending event, breaking a tie with Roger Federer for most titles.
Also in Turin, Novak secured the ATP Year-End No.1 honour for a record eighth time.
Djokovic has spent a total of 402 weeks at the summit of men’s professional tennis.
