On May 24, Novak claimed his first title of the 2025 season and the milestone 100th of his career with a comeback victory over Hubert Hurkacz in the final of the ATP tournament in Geneva — 5-7, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (2). With this achievement, he became only the third player in tennis history to reach 100 ATP titles, joining the legendary Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103).
With triumph at the inaugural Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship, an ATP 250 event in Athens, Novak captured his second title in 2025 and the 72nd hard-court trophy of his career, setting a new record and surpassing Federer’s mark of 71. With this victory, Djokovic also became the oldest player ever to win an ATP tournament.
