Just one step separates Novak from lifting his second trophy of the 2025 season.

The Serbian star booked his place in the 144th ATP final of his career with a straight-sets victory over world No. 117, Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann, 6–3, 6–4.

The semifinal clash at the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship in the Greek capital lasted one hour and 19 minutes.

The opening set was decided by a break in the sixth game, when Novak converted his third break point. The German had no answers on return, as Djokovic dominated behind his serve and calmly closed out the set.

In the second set, the 199th ATP semifinal of his career, Novak had a slower start, allowing Hanfmann to break in the fourth game for a 3–1 lead. But the world No. 5 immediately struck back, leveling at 3–3 and then breaking again to take full control, paving his way to victory.

In the final, Novak will face Lorenzo Musetti (Italy, 2), who defeated Sebastian Korda (USA) in the semifinals.

The championship match is scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. CET.
