After spending twenty weeks ranked no.4, Novak is back to position no.3 in the ATP Rankings, that he reached on July 9, 2007 for the first time.
Novak has 7,950 points in the latest ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals ) Ranking list as of Monday, October 19, which is 560 more than Brit Andy Murray who fell to no.4.

Novak is still third in the latest ATP Race Rankings with 6,410 points. The race to claim the three remaining places at the ATP World Tour finals in London intensifies. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Juan Martin del Potro qualified for the event.
The best Serbian tennis player climbed up two places in the Doubles Rankings. With the identical number of points as last week (585), he is ranked no.123.
Djokovic will next play in Basel. The ATP World Tour 500 tournament (Indoor Hard, € 1,755,000) starts on November 2. It will be Novak’s debut in this Swiss city.
