Novak Djokovic  thrashed Andy Murray 6:4, 6:2, 6:3 to win his second career Australian Open singles title and his second Grand Slam title overall.  Previously, after finishing as the runner-up at the 2010 US Open, Djokovic led the Serbian team to their first Davis Cup championship to end the 2010 season.
