Second seed Novak Djokovic won his first clay-court match of the season on Wednesday at the Gonet Geneva Open, where he defeated Marton Fucsovics in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals at the ATP 250 event.
Mutua Madrid Open draw is out
Novak continues his clay court season at the Mutua Madrid Open, an ATP Masters 1000 event, taking place from April 23 to May 4. The Serbian star is no.4 seed and will open his campaign at La Caja Mágica in the second round against world No.44 Matteo Arnaldi (ITA).

Novak will open his 2025 clay court season in Monte-Carlo, where he won the ATP Masters 1000 title twice, in 2013 and 2015. The tournament will be held at the Monte-Carlo Country Club from April 6 until April 13. Last year Djokovic fell to Casper Ruud in the semi-finals.
