Novak is the only tennis player in history to have achieved at least 90 wins at each Grand Slam tournament: Australian Open (94), Roland Garros (96), Wimbledon (97), US Open (90).

On August 4, just eight and a half weeks after undergoing meniscus surgery on his right leg, Novak defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2) in an epic Paris Olympics singles final to clinch a GOLD medal. Novak became the oldest world no.1 in the history of the ATP Rankings on April 8, 2024, at the age of 36 years and 321 days, surpassing the previous record held by Roger Federer.

With a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Jannik Sinner in the championship match of the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Novak won a record seventh crown at the prestigious year-ending event, breaking a tie with Roger Federer for most titles.
