Nardi stuns Novak in the third round of Indian Wells Masters
Lucky loser Luca Nardi caused a huge upset on Monday in the desert. Top seed and five-time former champion Djokovic was eliminated from Indian Wells in the third round by the unseeded Italian (4-6, 6-3, 3-6).
Novak notches 400th ATP Masters 1000 victory!
Top seed Novak Djokovic defeated world no.69 Aleksandar Vukic 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to advance into the third round at the BNP Paribas Open. It is his first appearance in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden since 2019.
Draw announced for 2024 BNP Paribas Open
The first ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the season, the BNP Paribas Open, takes place from March 6-17. Nole won the Indian Wells title five times – in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016. It will be his first appearance in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden since 2019.
Sinner ends Novak’s Australian Open title defence
Novak, who owns a record 10 Australian Open titles, suffered a 1-6, 2-6, 7-6 (6), 3-6 defeat to no.4 seed Jannik Sinner in Rod Laver Arena semi-finals on Friday. It was the first time the Serbian star has been beaten at Melbourne Park when he reached the last four.

The defending champion battled past Taylor Fritz 7-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 to seal a semi-final berth for the 11th time at the hard-court Major event. Djokovic will play against either Jannik Sinner (ITA, 4) or Andrey Rublev (RUS, 5) for a place in the final.
