World no.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic will visit Andricgrad in Visegrad this week and support the stone city project, created by film director and two-time Golden Palm winner Emir Kusturica.
Kusturica will present the six-time Grand Slam champion with the keys to Andricgrad as a gesture of welcome and appreciation. The stone city, also known as Kamengrad, is dedicated to the 1961 Nobel Prize Laureate in Literature, Ivo Andric.
Novak will also travel to Drvengrad (Timber Town), a traditional village near Mokra Gora.
This week, Novak will pay a visit to a special elementary school for children with developmental disabilities, “Anton Skala” in Belgrade. The Novak Djokovic Foundation will donate funds to provide children with quality conditions for growing up and education.
