Novak’s win over Tomas Berdych in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships final on Saturday has consolidated his no.1 ranking on the Tour.
Djokovic claimed his fourth Dubai trophy in five years, underlining his status as the world’s best player.
With no changes in the Top 10 in the latest ATP Ranking List as of Monday, March 4, Novak is no.1 for an 18th consecutive week and 71 weeks overall. He has 13,820 points, 320 more than last week as a result of winning the Dubai title (he fell in semi-finals last year).

The 25-year-old Serbian will next play at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, the first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event of the season (March 7-17).
Last year, the 2008 and 2011 champion fell to John Isner in semi-finals. The Singles Main Draw will be made on Tuesday, March 5, at 15.00 local time (Midnight CET).
