The 2024 Australian Open official draw took place on Thursday.

Novak, a record-extending ten-time AO champion, is a top seed. He will open the campaign against 18-year-old Dino Prizmic from Croatia (qualifier, ATP no. 178).

In the second round, Djokovic will play against the winner of the match between two Australians, Alexei Popyrin and Marc Polmans (WC).

The earliest seed he could meet is no.30, Tomas Martin Etcheverry (ARG), in round three, or he could face Andy Murray in that stage of the competition.

Novak’s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament:

Fourth round: Ben Shelton (USA, 16), Adrian Mannarino (FRA, 20), Stan Wawrinka (SUI)
Quarter-finals: Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 7), Taylor Fritz (USA, 12)
