In the latest ATP Ranking List as of Monday, August 13, Novak is ranked second with 11,270 points, only 75 behind top-ranked Roger Federer.
Nole, three-time Rogers Cup champion, beat Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-2 in the Canada Open final on Sunday and defended 1000 points he won in Montreal last year.

There have been some changes in the top. American John Isner returned to the top 10, while Juan Monaco dropped to no.11. Serbian Janko Tipsarevic is back to no.8, he switched place with Argentine Juan Martin del Potro who is down one position at no.9.
With victory in Toronto, Nole leads the ATP Race to London list with 8,110 points.
Djokovic is playing at the Cincinnati Masters 1000 event this week. He is no.2 seed and will open his campaign in R2 against either Andreas Seppi or Robin Haase, in his eighth appearance at the tournament where he won 600 points in 2011.
