Novak Djokovic, who completed the Indian Wells-Miami double on Sunday by winning the Sony Open Tennis event, has closed the gap on Rafael Nadal at the top of the ATP rankings.
The Serb, who beat the Spaniard 6-3, 6-3 to take his 18th Masters 1000 title, is now 1920 points behind Nadal.

After the victory in Miami, Novak tops the ATP Race to London list with 2,690 points.
Djokovic will next play at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters (April 13-20), the first of three ATP Masters 1000 events contested on clay.
Last year Nole ended Nadal’s eight-year reign with a 6-2, 7-6(1) win in the final.
The singles draw will take place on April 12 at 12:00 noon CET.
