Rafael Nadal defeated Tomas Berdych in straight sets and qualified as the Group A winner.
Nole faces Andy Roddick tonight not before 9pm CET, and needs to win one set to qualify for the semi-finals. The best Serbian tennis player would play against Roger Federer on Saturday at 9pm CET.
Djokovic and Roddick have met seven times on ATP tour, the American leads 5-2. Roddick won their last four encounters.
Roger Federer was the first singles player to secure his place in the semi-finals after winning all three of his Group B matches. He was joined by Andy Murray who qualified as second with a 2-1 record.
