Cincinnati draw is out!


The draw has been made for the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati (hard, $3,000,000). The tournament starts on Saturday, August 15.

Novak Djokovic is fourth-seeded and has a first round BYE. He will face qualifier Ivan Ljubicic in the second round. The Croat beat world number 52 Frenchman Florent Serra.

Nole’s potential rivals in the later stages of the tournament are:

3rd round: Tommy Robredo (ESP, 15), Tommy Haas (GER)
Quarterfinals: NIkolay Davydenko (RUS, 8), Giles Simon (FRA, 9), James Blake (USA)
Semifinals: Rafael Nadal (ESP, 2), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA, 7), Fernando Gonzalez (CHI, 10)

Roger Federer (SUI, 1), Andy Murray (GBR, 3), Andy Roddick (USA, 5), Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG, 6)… are in the other half of the draw.

Last year Novak lost in the finals to Andy Murray, 6-7(4), 6-7(5).
