Serbia needs both wins over France on Sunday to lift the Davis Cup trophy for the first time.
Doubles world no.4 Nenad Zimonjic and his teammate Viktor Troicki lost to French duo Michael Llodra and Arnaud Clement in a dramatic five-setter 6-3, 7-6(3), 4-6, 5-7, 4-6 in 4 hours and 34 minutes on Saturday to go down 1-2 in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group final tie that is being played on an indoor hard court in Belgrade Arena.
Serbian no.1 Novak Djokovic has the opportunity to clinch the second point for Serbia, as he plays against world no.12 Gael Monfils on Sunday at 13:00 CET. Nole leads Monfils 5-0 in previous meetings.
The second match sees Janko Tipsarevic take on Gilles Simon.
