World no.2 Novak Djokovic has been nominated to play Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group first round tie between 2010 champion Serbia and Russia on 3-5 February.
The 12-time Grand Slam titlist headlines Serbia’s team nominations and will be joined in the line-up by Viktor Troicki (35), Dusan Lajovic (94) and Nenad Zimonjic (no.57 in doubles).
Russia has named Andrey Kuznetsov (45), Karen Khachanov (52), Daniil Medvedev (63) and Konstantin Kravchuk (88).
Serbia will host Russia in Sportski Centar Cair, Nis (4,800 seats capacity). The winner will face either five-time champion Spain or 2005 titlist Croatia in quarterfinals.
The draw ceremony takes place on Thursday, February 2, at 13:00 CET.
