Serbia leads Greece 2-0 after day 1 in Belgrade.

In the first match of the day, Miomir Kecmanovic defeated Aristotelis Thanos 6-3, 6-3 to give Serbia the lead in the Davis Cup World Group I tie in Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

In the second match, Novak Djokovic dropped just one game against Ioannis Xilas, 6-0, 6-1.

Djokovic raced through the opening set 6-0 against the world no.700, making three breaks.

In a dominant display, the Olympic gold medalist continued his momentum, breaking his rival twice more in the second set to seal the win in just 44 minutes.

Sunday schedule begins with doubles. Hamad Medjedovic and Novak Djokovic will take on Petros Tsitsipas and Demetris Azoides. Two singles encounters will follow: Novak Djokovic vs Aristotelis Thanos and Miomir Kecmanovic vs Ioannis Xilas.
