Djokovic-Troicki reach Indian Wells quarter-finals

Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki upset no.7 seeds Lukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 on Monday in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament.

Nole and Viktor took the first set easily 6-2 in 32 minutes.

They were broken in the fifth game of the second set which was enough for the Polish-Austrian duo to clinch the set 6-4.

The Serbian tandem won the super tie-breaker 10-7 to seal victory after 86 minutes.

Their quarter-final opponents will be either Qureshi PAK/Bopanna IND or Bhupathi IND / Paes IND (3).

Nole plays his singles third round match tomorrow when he takes on no.31 seed Latvian Ernests Gulbis.
