Top seed and five-time champion Novak Djokovic is through to the Rolex Paris Masters quarter-finals, after 15th seed Gael Monfils withdrew from their third round match on Thursday.

The Frenchman suffered a leg injury in his win over compatriot Adrian Mannarino.

For a place in the last four, Novak will face Taylor Fritz (ATP #26), who outplayed no.10 seed Cameron Norrie (GBR) in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6.

Djokovic has recorded four victories against the American in as many career H2H meetings between the two.
