Novak will return to court on Monday needing one more set to reach the last eight at Wimbledon.

Second seed Novak Djokovic was within touching distance of the Wimbledon quarter-final on Sunday when he opened up a two sets to one lead over 17th seed Hubert Hurkacz.

The Serbian star was leading 7-6 (6), 7-6 (6), when play was suspended for the day on Centre Court at 22:35 local time. The decision was made to stop the match given that a conclusion before the 23:00 curfew was very unlikely.

Djokovic leads the Pole 5-0 in their ATP Head2Head series.
