Novak is back to no.2 in the ATP Rankings!



In the latest ATP Ranking list as of July 5, Novak is again ranked second player in the world!

As a result of reaching Wimbledon semi-finals, the best Serbian tennis player has climbed to no. 2 in the rankings again this week, overtaking Roger Federer, who has dropped to position no.3 for the first time since November 2003.

Novak won 360 points more than last year going one step further in London. He now has 6,905 ATP points, 20 more than the Swiss.

Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal cemented his hold on the no. 1 world ranking with the victory at The Championships. He has 10,745 points, which is 3,840 points more than second-ranked Djokovic.

Wimbledon runner-up Tomas Berdych has risen to a new career-high no. 8 in the South African Airways 2010 ATP Rankings.

In the ATP Race leading to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals tournament, Novak has climbed two positions to no.5 with 2,905 points.

Djokovic will lead Serbia in the upcoming Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group quarterfinals against Croatia in Split, taking place from 9-11 July.
