Novak retires due to health problems



Serbia Open, an ATP World Tour 250 tournament in Belgrade,will get a new champion on Sunday.

Top seed and defending champion Novak Djokovic retired at 4-6 in his quarter-final match against young fellow-Serbian Filip Krajinovic.

The world no. 2 has been dealing with allergy problems and fatigue all week.

The 18-year-old Sombor native will face no.3 seed Sam Querrey in the semi-finals on Saturday (8:00 pm). The American beat Russian Igor Andreev 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

Second-seeded American John Isner takes on no.4 seed Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka in the first semifinal encounter on centre court at 2:00 pm.
