Novak Djokovic, a seven-time champion of the season-ending tournament, will miss this year’s “Nitto ATP Finals” due to injury.
“It’s quite an honor to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. I was really looking forward to being there, but due to ongoing injury I won’t be playing next week. Apologies to those who were planning to see me. Wishing all the players a great tournament. See you soon!”
Novak was set to defend his title and 1,300 points from 2023, when he defeated Jannik Sinner 6-3, 6-3 in the final.
The ATP Finals will be held from November 10 to 17 in Turin, featuring the eight players with the best results in 2024.
