18-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has revealed his partial schedule for the 2021 spring season.
The world no.1 will start with the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, the first of three ATP Masters 1000 tournaments played on clay, taking place from April 11 to April 18. Novak has won two titles at the Monte-Carlo Country Club (2013, 2015). He fell to Daniil Medvedev 3-6, 6-4, 2-6 in 2019 quarters. Last year, the event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ATP Tour returns to Belgrade for the first time since 2012. The Serbia Open, an ATP 250 clay-court event, will be held from April 19 to April 25 at the Novak Tennis Center. The tournament relocated from Budapest, Hungary. Novak has won the title in his hometown twice (2009, 2011).
