Novak’s team, the UAE Royals, finished second in the inaugural International Premier Tennis League with 37 points from 12 matches.
They beat the Micromax Indian Aces 29-15 on the third day of the UAE leg of the IPTL in Dubai, on Saturday.
Novak defeated Gael Monfils 6-0 for the convincing win at the Hamdan Sport Complex.
The Delhi-based team secured the top spot on Friday when they toppled Manila Mavericks, with the Royals losing to Singapore Slammers (Djokovic l.to Berdych in a shoot-out 5-6).
