The China Open draw is revealed!

The China Open draw has been made. After three weeks without matches, Novak is making his debut at the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Beijing, the capital of China next week (hard, $2,100,500). It’s the first of the five remaining tournaments he’ll play in 2009.

The best Serbian tennis player is the second seed. He’ll face world no.28 Victor Hanescu of Romania in the first round.

Djokovic and Hanescu have met twice, Nole leads 2-0.

We might see an all-Serbian clash already in the second round. Novak will play against the winner of the match between Viktor Troicki and a qualifier.

His possible opponent in the quarterfinals is no.5 seed Spaniard Fernando Verdasco.

If Novak reaches semifinals he might play Andy Roddick (USA) or Robin Soderling (SWE).

Rafael Nadal is no.1 seed, and Nole can’t meet him before the finals.

The winner of the tournament in Beijing (ATP World Tour 500) will get 500 points and $500,000.
