Novak through to Australian Open semifinals after Musetti retirement
Novak Djokovic secured a place in the semifinals of the Australian Open in a match that ended in unexpected fashion. Despite Lorenzo Musetti (5) holding a 2–0 lead in sets, the Italian was forced to retire due to injury during the quarterfinal, with Novak leading 3-1 in the third set.
Novak to face Alcaraz in gold medal match at Paris Olympics!
Novak advanced to his first ever gold medal match at the Paris Olympics on Friday, following a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-final.
Novak stunned by Musetti in Monte-Carlo
Novak will not be playing in the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters quarterfinals after he lost to world no.21 Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 5-7, 4-6 in the third round. The ATP 250 event in Banja Luka - the Srpska Open - is the next stop for Djokovic. It will be held from April 17 to April 23.
