It is a hot day today in Melbourne, 40C! But that doesn’t stop us, we are working :) I had a great sparing partner today, the best junior in the world – Nikola Milojevic from Serbia. #soproud So, I’m ready for my match – 3rd from 11am. See you guys!!!

Vreo dan u Melburnu, 40C a možda i više. Ali to nas ne sprečava da vredno radimo! :) Danas sam imao najboljeg juniora na svetu za sparing partnera, našeg Nikolu Milojevića. Tako da znate, spreman sam za meč sutra koji bi trebalo da bude treći po redu od 11am. Vidimo se!

Here is the little girl from last year that challenged me to play with her on my practice. She came to see me today, and guess what? We did it again. Always a pleasure! :)
On the other note, I’ve been saddened by the horrible news of Brad Drewett’s health (the president of ATP). He is forced to fight a very tough disease and for that he has to leave the ATP office. I wish him all the best, and hope he can recover and win this battle. This should serve to all of us as a reminder of how important health is, since many of us take it for granted on good days. We only have one life and one body to care of, and we better do it right. You never know what tomorrow may bring and so we better live this life the best we can and be grateful for everything we have.

Možda se sećate ove slatke devojčice koja me je prošle godine zamolila da prebacim par loptica sa njom posle mog treninga. Video sam je ponovo danas i naravno, nisam odoleo da to ne ponovim i ovaj put :)
Nažalost, želeo bih da se osvrnem i na tužnu vest koju sam saznao danas. Brad Drewett, predsednik ATPa je suočen sa jako teškom bolešću zbog koje je primoran da napusti ATP. Želim mu od srca sve najbolje i nadam se da će pobediti bolest. Neka ovaj primer služi svima nama kao podsetnik koliko je zdravlje bitno, jer mnogi od nas to zaborave kada smo zdravi. Imamo samo jedan život i jedno telo o kojem moramo da brinemo jer nikad se ne zna šta sutra donosi. Trebamo da budemo zahvalni za svaki dan koji imamo na ovom svetu i živimo ga najbolje što umemo.

I had a lot of fun today with my friends from HEAD Tennis presenting my Speed racquet – it’s finally out! I had a speed contest vs race car – who do you think was faster? ;) And here is another video from the campaign http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-tcp630D28

Busy day today. First there was a draw ceremony, and Vika and I as defending champions were invited to attend. It was really nice, and we got to see our trophies again. I can tell you one thing, i wouldn’t mind bringing one home with me again :) Then I went to a race track to challenge the super fast car with my new HEAD Tennis racquet! You’ll find out later what happened, but for the record – HEAD is doing some incredible things with technology of racquets. Speed is my name :) And all of that was just half of the day. The rest I spent in my favorite office – tennis court :)

Danas sam imao baš dosta aktivnosti van terena. Prvo sam prisustvovao izvlačenju žreba sa Azarenkom i bilo je baš lepo, ponovo smo videli naše prošlogodišnje trofeje. Ne bih se uopšte protivio da ponovo ponesem jedan kući :) Zatim sam imao ozbiljan izazov. U svom stilu, HEAD mi priređuje vrlo zanimljive zadatke, a ovog puta sam imao nesvakidašnjeg protivnika – trkački auto. Saznaćete kasnije šta se tu izdešavalo, ali jedino što mogu da kažem je da HEAD koristi neverovatnu tehnologiju za rekete. Zatim sam se preselio u moju omiljenu “kancelariju” – na teniske terene :)

Vozimo se biciklima po Melburnu… a napolju je baš velika vrućina :)
