The first ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the season, the BNP Paribas Open, takes place from March 5 to 16. Nole has won the Indian Wells title five times – in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Last year, he finished the tournament in the third round, so he will be defending 50 ATP points.
