Novak Djokovic Charity Event in Rod Laver Arena
Novak Djokovic got to play one more match before the 2024 Australian Open, and it was a positive match against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Ahead of the tournament, both last year’s finalists got to try out the Rod Laver Arena, as they participated in one of the charity matches ahead of the 2024 Australian Open. At the charity event, called Novak and Friends, the two played only one set, since there were other activities that followed afterwards, so fans didn’t get to witness the last year’s champion compete in the best-of-three format. In the match, Djokovic got an early break when he broke his opponent’s serve at 3-2, and after confirming it with a hold to love, there wasn’t much the Greek player could do to turn the match around.
