The tournament is taking place at the Lindner Family Tennis Center (August 11-18).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novak is no.1 seed and has a first round BYE. He will open his title defence campaign against world no.45 Sam Querrey (USA, H2H 8-2).<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nole\u2019s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd round:<\/strong> John Isner (USA, 13), Dusan Lajovic (SRB)<br \/>\n<strong>Quarter-finals:<\/strong> Karen Khachanov (RUS, 8), Fabio Fognini (ITA, 10), Nick Kyrgios (AUS), Denis Shapovalov (CAN)<br \/>\n<strong>Semi-finals:<\/strong> Roger Federer (SUI, 3), Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE, 5), Daniil Medvedev (RUS, 9), Nikoloz Basilashvili (GEO, 15)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finals:<\/strong> Rafael Nadal (ESP, 2), Kei Nishikori (JPN, 6), Dominic Thiem (AUT, 4), Alexander Zverev (GER, 7)<\/p>\n<p><strong>After five runner-up finishes in Cincinnati, Novak claimed the historic crown in 2018 to become the first singles player to achieve Career Golden Masters.<\/strong> The Serbian star clinched his first Western &amp; Southern Open title with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Roger Federer in the final.<\/p>\n<p>After the Cincinnatti Masters, Novak will be among the celebrities and athletes headlining the 24th annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arthurashekidsday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arthur Ashe Kids\u2019 Day<\/a> in New York (August 24).
