The world no.1 will first compete at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters<\/strong><\/a> (April 9-16) where he\u2019s lifted the championship trophy twice (2013 and 2015). Last year, he was stopped in the second round by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (3-6, 7-6, 1-6).<\/p>\n The ATP 250 event in Banja Luka – the Srpska Open<\/strong><\/a> – follows, and it will feature a strong field led by Novak Djokovic, Gael Monfils, Andrey Rublev, Stan Wawrinka…<\/p>\n A few days later, Novak will be back at the Mutua Madrid Open<\/strong><\/a> (April 26 – May 7), where he was triumphant three times (2011, 2016, 2019). Last year, he fell to the eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz in three tight sets (7-6, 5-7, 6-7).<\/p>\n Novak\u2019s last tournament ahead of the second Grand Slam event of the season will be the Internazionali BNL d\u2019Italia<\/strong><\/a> (May 10-21). The six-time titlist won the Rome Masters in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2022. Last year, he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final (6-0, 7-6).<\/p>\n
