The iconic rivalry between Djokovic and Nadal recorded its final chapter on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, claimed a 6-2, 7-6 (5) victory against the 22-time Major titlist Rafael Nadal in the third-place play-off at the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition event in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard is set to retire at next month\u2019s Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.<\/p>\n

The two legends had faced each other a total of 60 times before this exhibition match in Saudi Arabia, and the stands were filled to witness this final showdown.<\/p>\n

Nole and Rafa have embodied one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sport, over the past 16 years. Djokovic leads their head-to-head record 31-29.<\/p>\n
