He has previously won the trophy in Melbourne in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;I\u2019m excited to have one of my greatest rivals in my team, on the same side of the net, this time as my coach. I&#8217;m looking forward to starting the season together with Andy and having him by my side in Melbourne, where we\u2019ve shared many extraordinary moments throughout our careers,&#8221;<\/strong> Novak said.<\/p>\n<p>After the first Major event of the season, and depending on Djokovic\u2019s tournament schedule, the two tennis greats will discuss the possible extension of their collaboration throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;I\u2019ll be joining Novak\u2019s team during the preparation period, helping him prepare for the Australian Open. I\u2019m really excited about it and I am looking forward to being on the same side of the net for a change.
