He\u00a0was 5-2 down in the first set after 32 minutes of play, when\u00a0the tournament officials evacuated Arthur Ashe Stadium expecting tornado weather to arrive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Play will resume on Sunday at 11.00 local time (17.00 CET).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the fifth consecutive year the event will have a Monday final.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Murray (GBR, 3) reached the final by beating Tomas Berdych in four sets\u00a05-7, 6-2,<br \/>\n6-1, 7-6 (7) in three hours and 58 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: Getty Images<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2012 US Open semi-final match was suspended for the day due to the expecting incoming tornado.
