He sealed the win with a double break and advanced into his eighth final of the season (5-2 record).<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;The key was just to hang in there and stay with him,&#8221;<\/strong> said Djokovic. <strong>&#8220;I knew he was going to be aggressive from the start coming to the net. He used his opportunities really well. He was very efficient. I tried to decrease the number of unforced errors and step in when it&#8217;s needed. I did pretty well in the second and the third sets.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Match statistics<\/span>: aces (7-5), double faults (5-4), winners (27-23), unforced errors (27-37), total points won (97-84).<\/p>\n<p>Novak and Roger will meet again next week, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/novakdjokovic.com\/en\/news\/tennis\/atp-world-tour-finals-nole-in-group-b-with-del-potro-federer-and-gasquet\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barclays ATP World Tour Finals <\/a>in London.
