After serious consultation with his team, he decided to skip the first round tie against Switzerland, taking place in Novi Sad (January 31 &#8211; February 2).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201dI have experienced some of the best moments in my professional tennis career representing my country in the Davis Cup competition. I always gave everything and I\u2019m very proud of all the achievements I have accomplished with my friends. We became champions in 2010 beating France in Belgrade, and we played another final last year against Czech Republic. There were a lot of great moments and matches. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I made the decision not to play after serious consultation with my team. I think it\u2019s the best decision. I also think it is important for the future of our tennis that our young players get the chance to gain some experience this year by playing against team like Switzerland.
