I dropped my serve twice.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Match statistics<\/span>: aces (9-0), double faults (3-2), winners (40-16), unforced errors (33-23), total points won (99-71).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YskqvyX1W7M\" width=\"590\" height=\"332\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next up for Novak is Jeremy Chardy (42). The Frenchman defeated Daniel Gimeno-Traver in straight sets earlier in the day.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old Serb will take a perfect 8-0 career record into their second round encounter on Wednesday<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Chardy had a big win against Federer in Rome, so I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s very motivated to play his best. But I have been looking forward to this tournament for a long time.
