Defending champion Novak Djokovic has been given a walkover into the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open<\/a> after no.32 seed Bernard Tomic was forced to withdraw due to a back injury ahead of their Thursday night clash.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world no.1 has a 39-6 record at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. After finishing runner-up in 2007, Nole went on to lift the trophy in 2008, 2011 and 2014.<\/p>\n

Djokovic\u00a0will face no.4 seed Andy Murray on Saturday at 11:00 local time (19:00 CET) for a place in the final. The British no.1 beat 12th-seeded Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-4.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Novak owns a 16-8 ATP Head2Head record over Andy. They last met in the Australian Open final, with the Serb winning 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-0.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old Belgrade native has won 20 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 trophies. He is bidding to capture his 50th career crown and second title of the season.<\/p>\n

Roger Federer (SUI, 2) and Milos Raonic (CAN,6) complete the semi-final line-up.<\/strong><\/p>\n
