After winning the Australian Open and the first two Masters 1000 events in 2015, Novak is full of confidence ahead of the European clay-court swing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world no.1 will first compete at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters<\/a> (April 12-19). Last year, he fell in semi-finals to Roger Federer (5-7 2-6), so he will defend 360 points.<\/p>\n

The Mutua Madrid Open<\/a> will be played from May 3-10. Djokovic was forced to withdraw from the tournament last year, due to a right arm injury.<\/p>\n

Novak’s last event ahead of the second Grand Slam tournament of the season will be the Rome Masters (May 10-17). The 27-year-old Belgrade native won his third crown at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia<\/a> last year when he beat Rafael Nadal in the final (4-6, 6-3, 6-3). He will defend 1000 points.<\/p>\n

The only Major event that Novak still hasn’t won, the Roland Garros<\/a>, will take place in Paris from May 24-June 7. Last year, Nole fell to Rafael Nadal in the final (6-3, 5-7, 2-6, 4-6). He will defend 1200 points in the capital of France.<\/p>\n
