Singles draw has been made for the second Grand Slam of the season, the Roland Garros<\/a>, taking place in Paris, from May 24 to June 7, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The French Open first round matches will be played during the first three days of the competition. Main courts are Philippe Chatrier, Suzanne Lenglen and Court no.1.<\/p>\n

World no.1 and top seed Novak Djokovic will open his campaign against no.86-ranked Jarkko Nieminen (FIN) on Tuesday. It will be their fifth career meeting (4-1).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The eight-time Major champion might face either Gilles Muller (LUX) or Paolo Lorenzi (ITA) in the second round.<\/p>\n

Novak\u2019s potential opponents in the later stages of the tournament are:<\/p>\n

3rd round:<\/strong> Bernard Tomic (AUS, 27)
\n4th round:<\/strong> Kevin Anderson (RSA, 15), Richard Gasquet (FRA, 20)
\nQuarter-finals:<\/strong> Rafael Nadal (ESP, 6), Grigor Dimitrov (BUL, 10)
\nSemi-finals:<\/strong> Andy Murray (GBR, 3), David Ferrer (ESP, 7)
\nFinals:<\/strong> Roger Federer (SUI, 2), Tomas Berdych (CZE, 4), Kei Nishikori (JPN, 5), Stan Wawrinka (SUI, 8)<\/p>\n

The Roland Garros is the only Major trophy Djokovic still hasn\u2019t won. Should he succeed, he would join an elite group of eight players in completing the career Grand Slam.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be Novak\u2019s 11th appearance on Parisian clay (42-10 record).<\/p>\n

Last year, the Belgrade native fell to the nine-time titlist and defending champion Rafael Nadal, 6-3, 5-7, 2-6, 4-6, in his second Roland Garros final.<\/p>\n
