World no.1 Novak Djokovic will start his US Open Series campaign at the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank<\/a>, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament in Montreal, Canada (August 10-16). The official draw will take place at Fairmont Queen Elizabeth on Friday, August 7, at 17:00 local time (23:00 CET).<\/p>\n

The 2007, 2011 and 2012 champion won 90 points last year. He lost to Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in R3, 2-6, 2-6.<\/p>\n

A week later, another ATP Masters 1000 event, the Western & Southern Open<\/a>, begins in Cincinnati (August 16-23).<\/p>\n

Novak won 90 ATP points in 2014. He was stopped by Spaniard Tommy Robredo in R3, 6-7, 5-7. It is the only Masters 1000 tournament that Djokovic still hasn’t won.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old Belgrade native will have a week off before the last Grand Slam in 2015 – the US Open<\/a> (August 31-September 13).<\/p>\n

Last year, he finished semifinalist to Kei Nishikori of Japan, 4-6, 6-1, 6-7, 3-6.<\/p>\n

It will be Novak\u2019s 11th appearance in New York, where he lifted the trophy in 2011.<\/p>\n
