The main singles draw for the last Grand Slam tournament in 2015 has been made on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Top seed and 2011 champion will open campaign in his eleventh US Open<\/a> appearance against Joao Souza (Brazil, ATP #89, H2H 0-0) on Monday at 22.30 CET.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world no.1 might face either Vasek Pospisil (CAN) or Andreas Haider-Maurer (AUT) in the second round<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Novak\u2019s possible rivals in the later stages of the tournament are:<\/p>\n

3rd round:<\/strong> Andreas Seppi (ITA, 25)
\n4th round:<\/strong> David Goffin (BEL, 14), Roberto Bautista Agut (ESP, 23)
\nQuarter-finals:<\/strong> Rafael Nadal (ESP, 8), Milos Raonic (CAN, 10)…
\nSemi-finals:<\/strong> Kei Nishikori (JPN, 4), David Ferrer (ESP, 7), Marin Cilic (CRO, 9)…<\/p>\n

Roger Federer (SUI, 2), Andy Murray (GBR, 3), Stan Wawrinka (SUI, 5), Tomas Berdych (CZE, 6)… are in the bottom half of the draw, and Nole can\u2019t meet them before the finals.<\/p>\n

Last year Novak finished semifinalist to Kei Nishikori of Japan (4-6, 6-1, 6-7, 3-6).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Djokovic won 50 matches of 59 he played in New York. This season he has a 56-5 match record (33-4 on hard).<\/p>\n

Competitions at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows begin on August 31, and will last until September 13.<\/p>\n
