The world’s top-ranked player Novak Djokovic will take part in an exhibition match against longstanding rival Rafael Nadal on October 2 at Bangkok’s Hua Mark Indoor Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event called “Nadal v Djokovic – presented by CP True” will take place in the 15,000 capacity venue.<\/p>\n

Suwat Liptapanlop, president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, said the match was important to the tourist industry after last month’s bombing of the Erawan Shrine, saying it will “boost confidence of Thailand’s safety and the business returns to usual.” “This special match will be big comeback for the duo in Thailand,”<\/strong> he added.<\/p>\n
