The tournament begins on Monday, October 5, and features five players from the ATP\u2019s top 10. Five-time champion Novak Djokovic is seeded no.1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 28-year-old Belgrade native will open his title defence at the ATP World Tour 500 event against Italian qualifier, world no.62 Simone Bolelli (3-0 H2H).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Novak\u2019s possible rivals in the later stages of the tournament are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second round:<\/strong> Ze Zhang (CHN, WC)<br \/>\n<strong>Quarter-finals:<\/strong> John Isner (USA, 6)<br \/>\n<strong>Semi-finals:<\/strong> David Ferrer (ESP, 4), Milos Raonic (CAN, 5)<br \/>\n<strong>Finals:<\/strong> Tomas Berdych (CZE, 2), Rafael Nadal (ESP, 3), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA, 8)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novak has won the Beijing tournament on all five occasions he has entered, beating Marin Cilic in 2009, David Ferrer in 2010, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2012, Rafael Nadal in 2013 and Tomas Berdych in 2014 final \u2013 6-0, 6-2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Djokovic will start his 167th week at no.1 in the ATP Rankings on Monday.
